Dates for your diaries!

Afternoon all! I'm guesting at a couple of events over the next few weeks, so I thought I'd just let you all know in case you fancy a glamorous night out!

First up, this Saturday night, February 7th is the launch of a brand-new 40s themed club night called The Blitz Party!

The Chap has teamed up with Bourne & Hollingsworth to present a night of Second World War glamour, music and dance in a spectacularly abandoned suite of buildings in London's glittering East End. Dance to 1940s swing bands and chanteuses, while searchlights pick out sandbags, blackout curtains, oil lamps and military bunk beds. Ration books will replace bar tabs at he Spitfire Bar, where foaming Kentish Ale will be served alongside starchy food, while newsreels and wartime films are screened.

Dress Code: 1940s glam, CC41 Utility clothing and allied uniform.

For tickets, visit www.theblitzparty.com or call 0207 636 8228. See also, the official Facebook event page here!

It should be a fabulous night, and I can't wait!

Then, on Monday 23rd February, I can be found at Last Days Of Decadence in Shoreditch at the IFB London Fashion Week Soirée, which is being organised by the fabulous Mademoiselle Robot. Aptly named "Dress Up!", it is bound to be a deliciously fashionable affair. If you would like to come, it's essential that you get in touch with Mlle Robot immediately as places are extremely limited.

Here's the lowdown from the official Facebook event page.

Independent Fashion Bloggers & Mademoiselle Robot will be hosting the Dress Up Soirée for you to meet with IFB members, fashion bloggers and many more!

Loulou Loves You and I Heart Norwegian Wood kindly accepted to donate some lovely creations for our special giveaway, so if you are an IFB member, make sure you get a ticket. If you are not a member, you can still sign up!

Please RSVP to mellerobot@gmail.com by February 20th with your full name and DRESS UP in the subject so we can add it to the guest list.

If you have any questions please contact me at mellerobot@gmail.com.
Dress UP!

DJs - Nadia Ksaiba, Mmmélanie, Pure Filth

The beautiful Fleur de Guerre will also be showing off original vintage dresses from Vintage Secret as well as Loulou Loves You! creations.

Some super special performances are also to be confirmed.

That's all for now, chaps, but stay tuned for my latest vintage finds!
